La Aurora Preferidos Parejos, more choices for the consumer

Since cigar lovers are very different and their individual tastes are very distinct, La Aurora did not want to neglect any of them. Therefore, in 2016, La Aurora released three tubeless references with six blends of the line La Aurora 1903 Edition Preferidos (except for the Double Barrel Aged), thus extending the offer of its flagship.

In this line called La Aurora Preferidos Parejos, each of the blends of Preferidos is presented in toro shape (5 ¾” length and a ring gauge of 54), robusto (5” length and a ring gauge of 50) and corona (5 ½” and a ring gauge of 42). Thus, consumers can count on alternatives to meet their preferences.

In addition, they can buy them at a more affordable price, since, given the absence of a tube, its manufacturing cost is lower and its production is less complex. Nonetheless, consumers can distinguish which blend they’re dealing with in the seal, which is the same color as the Preferidos tube and, in most of them, contains the name of the seed or the country where its wrapper’s seed was cultivated.

For example, La Aurora 1903 Edition Preferido Doble Figurado Tubo Black Diamond cigar, which has a black tube, is—in this line of Parejos—the La Aurora Edición 1903 Broadleaf cigar, available in the shapes toro, robusto and corona. They both have a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper from the United States, a binder from Valle del Cibao, Dominican Republic and a filler made of tobaccos from Valle del Cibao and Nicaragua.

And the same thing happens with the rest:

    • La Aurora 1903 Edition Ecuador (Emerald in the line of Preferidos Doble Figurado Tubo): has a wrapper from Ecuador, a binder from Valle del Cibao and a filler of tobaccos from Valle del Cibao, Brazil, Nicaragua and Peru.
    • La Aurora 1903 Edition Connecticut (Sapphire in Preferidos Doble Figurado Tubo): has a Connecticut wrapper, a binder from Valle del Cibao and a filler of tobaccos from Valle del Cibao, Brazil, Nicaragua and Peru.
    • La Aurora 1903 Edition Corojo (Gold in Preferidos Tubo): has a Corojo wrapper, a binder from Valle del Cibao and a filler from Valle del Cibao, Brazil, Nicaragua and Peru.

  • La Aurora 1903 Edition Cameroon (Platinum in the line of Preferidos Tubo): has a Cameroon wrapper, a binder from Valle del Cibao and a filler of tobaccos from Valle del Cibao, Brazil and Cameroon.
  • La Aurora 1903 Edition Maduro (Ruby in the line of Preferidos Tubo): has a wrapper from Brazil, a binder from Valle del Cibao and a filler of tobaccos from Valle del Cibao, Brazil and Cameroon.

As you can see once more with this line of cigars, the range of products offered by La Aurora aims to delight all palates.
