Our Cigar Institute gave a three-day course at the end of November in which participants were imbued with the wisdom imparted by great experts in the world of tobacco.
In particular, they learned the history of tobacco, the areas in which it is grown, the ideal climate for planting tobacco, the characteristics of the tobacco plant and the processes that are followed when making a cigar, as well as the economic importance and social tobacco for the Dominican Republic.
They were three days of coexistence, wisdom, learning, sensations, experiences and life lessons. The participants finished the course receiving a certificate endorsed by Intabaco, the Tobacco Institute of the Dominican Republic.
