Our Humidor La Aurora Preferidos Hors D’Age 2018 is one of the products that were auctioned at the closing of this year’s Procigar Festival. It was sold for a total of $ 10,000. All the proceeds of this auction, which is celebrated during the Gala dinner of the festival, are destined for charity.
Specifically, the net profits benefit the nonprofit organization for ill children Voluntariado de Jesús con los Niños; Sociedad de San Vicente de Paúl, a retirement home for low-income elders.

The Humidor’s lid is made from Spanish olive root, while cedar has been used for the interior trays. The cigar itself, part of the Preferidos family, goes through a 12-year process from seed to cigar, this allows for a very balanced yet complex blend of Dominican, Ecuadorian, Nicaraguan, and Columbian tobacco that produces spicy notes of black pepper and wood enriched by nuances of cinnamon and nuts and a delicate touch of roasted coffee.
