Every single cigar in La Aurora is a little miracle. Just imagine all the processes that the leaf is submitted to since it’s a seed up to it touches your lips and all the problems, attacks, difficulties that, through all these steps, can make the cigar down. In this long and handmade process, we put apart some of the best leaves to release, every two years, La Aurora Puro Vintage. The 2006 edition is a well-balanced Salomon shape cigar (61/2×50/60) that gets an extra part of our most important ingredient: time! All the tobacco leaves in the blend come from the 2006 harvest what is time enough to become calm, rounded-flavor, exquisite aroma, perfect burn. Like good wines, good cigars turn better with controlled atmosphere time in our aging room, kinder, more elegant, smarter… We can say La Aurora Puro Vintage 2006, thanks to the extra time, is wiser.
Tasting note
The format Salomon gives a very special smoke. Its shape, doble figurado, makes evolve differently as it opens and closes the ring during the burning, accumulating strength at the end. This cigar offers a very earthy flavor and leather with great complexity in perfect balance with its high strength. Woody, nutty, sweet, fruity and at the same time, with the slight bitter of cocoa. A real festival of taste.
