Santiago, Dominican Republic. April 22, 2026. – La Aurora, the cigar factory of the Dominican Republic since 1903, highlighted its participation in the exclusive PCA 2026 event, organized by the Premium Cigar Association at the New Orleans Convention Center, held from April 17 to 20.
During this renowned convention, La Aurora once again reinforced its unwavering commitment to quality and its continuous drive for innovation, through an experience focused on tradition and evolution, and with the presentation of new releases. The most notable among them was the second edition of its Family Creed series: Perseverance.
La Aurora Perseverance honors the promise of maintaining excellence, guided by the León Family Creed—which inspires the entire series—through a cigar crafted with precision, care, and patience. Defined by its full body and a blend featuring a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, Mexican binder, and a filler mix from Nicaragua, the United States, and the Dominican Republic, every detail of this cigar is meticulously assembled, demonstrating artisanal mastery, innovative techniques, and the dedication and discipline that have always characterized the cigar factory.

In addition to the launch of the second edition of Family Creed, La Aurora introduced its new luxurious and exquisite cigar selection, Prime Collection, as well as La Aurora 1903 Edition Double Barrel Aged, a perfectly harmonized cigar aged in barrels that previously contained Ron E. León Jimenes, reaffirming the brand’s constant evolution and expanding its portfolio.
Prime Collection is an exclusive selection of five of the house’s most iconic cigars, released in limited editions: Puro Vintage 2009, Hors D’Age 2023, 120th Anniversary Preferido No. 1, Fernando León 100 Years, and 100 Years Toro Fantail. Meanwhile, La Aurora 1903 Edition Double Barrel Aged delivers a new experience in a Perfecto format, double-aged, revealing a creamy and luxurious smoke for aficionados.

As part of La Aurora’s presentation at PCA 2026, attendees also experienced “The Perfect Pairing,” where they appreciated the ideal balance between the brand’s premium rums, Ron E. León Jimenes 110th Anniversary and Ron 1903, and cigars.
