La Aurora Cigars has launched a B2C (Business to Consumer) web platform to sell directly to consumers in the United States. Through www.laaurora.com, premium cigar enthusiasts in the United States will be able to purchase a wide variety of cigars from the oldest cigar company in the Dominican Republic.
This online sales platform offers customers the possibility to get advice on which cigars to buy. In the La Aurora Cigar Quiz section, consumers can answer five questions about cigars to get personalised recommendations, selected by our master blender, Manuel Inoa.
In addition, you can search for which cigars to buy by selecting the notes you want to savour. “Our master blender, Manuel Inoa, builds our cigars with subtle, layered nuances. Use these notes as a guide to find your perfect smoke,” the website explains.
It is also possible to view a selection of cigars by format, whereby the approximate time it takes to smoke each type of cigar is given. Our wide range of products goes from the standard Robusto size to the classic and elegant Churchill. Our extensive selection allows us to adapt to different smoking times and to any type of smoker.
Similarly, you can also search for cigars by their length: medium (5″-6″) and long (6″-7″). The length of a cigar correlates with the length of the smoke: the longer the cigar, the longer the smoke. There is also the possibility to filter your selection of cigars according to the ring gauge or thickness. This affects the intensity and concentration of flavours.
