La Aurora Cigars, the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic, reaffirmed its leadership and innovation in the premium tobacco industry with its participation in the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) event, held April 11–14 at the New Orleans Convention Center.
During this prestigious international trade show, La Aurora officially unveiled its latest release: La Aurora Fuerte Sol, a new line launched alongside the new Family Creed series, designed for smokers who appreciate complexity, structure, and the richness of a cigar with character.
La Aurora Fuerte Sol is crafted with a carefully selected blend of tobaccos:
- Wrapper: San Andrés, Mexico
- Binder: Nicaragua
- Filler: Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania (USA)
With a medium to full strength (8.5/10), this blend delivers a deep and balanced smoke, led by prominent notes of oak and cedar, complemented by a creamy and sweet texture thanks to its dark, oily wrapper. Spicy undertones, dried fruits, almonds, citrus, cocoa, and a subtle toasted hint round out the profile, creating a complex and refined sensory experience.

During the event, La Aurora also celebrated a major milestone after receiving the “Best of the Best 2024” award from Robb Report magazine, granted to the La Aurora 120th Anniversary Parejos cigar.
