Since we presented La Aurora 120th Anniversary for the first time at the last Procigar Festival, the industry media have been reporting on it. This commemorative cigar will be launched on the American market after the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade fair. To make it known to the European, Asian and African markets, a convention was held in Spain.
La Aurora 120th Anniversary has been the subject of numerous publications. For example, the magazine ‘Cigar Aficionado’ published a review on the 1st of March. First of all, it highlighted the fact that our company will be 120 years old next October. It also pointed out that the new cigar is made of tobaccos grown in the Dominican Republic, specifically in the Cibao Valley.
Similarly, ‘Cigar Journal’ magazine highlighted in its 1st of March issue the Dominican blend of the cigar: a wrapper made of Dominican Habano ’92 tobacco, a binder of Dominican Olor and a filler made up of Piloto Cubano, Olor and Corojo. They note that the wrapper was selected for its aromatic attributes and even burn, while the filler tobaccos were chosen to offer a full and balanced smoking experience without ever compromising on flavour.

The magazine ‘Halfwheel’ also explained in its article, which was published on the 17th of February, the exquisite blend of this cigar. It will be available in four formats in 20 unit boxes:

- La Aurora 120th Anniversary Toro (5 1/4 x 54)
- La Aurora 120th Anniversary Gran Toro (6 x 58)
- La Aurora 120th Anniversary Churchill (7 x 47)
Finally, the digital publication ‘Blind Man’s Puff’ highlights the words of La Aurora’s president, Guillermo Leon, about the cigar and the 120-year history of the factory. “As we commemorate our 120th anniversary, we are proud to mark a milestone that will serve as a reference point for many years to come.
