The NBA icon and BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME MEMBER, Karl Malone, has visited the Ron Barceló facilities in order to live the sensory experience and learn about the production process, an experience offered by the liquor company that produces E. León Jimenes rum, a super-premium rum, with an extremely limited production, property of La Aurora, S.A. and produced by Ron Barceló. Malone will act as a distributor and as brand image of the brand in the United States.
The legendary star of the ‘National Basketball Association’ (NBA), ex player of the Utah Jazz team and BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME MEMBER, Karl Malone, has visited the factory and the Historical Center of Ron Barceló in order to learn more about the production process of their awarded rums, and especially the E. León Jimenes brand rum, since he considers himself a big fan of these spirits and the cigars.
Also known as ‘The Mailman’, the holder of the second place in the record of points scored in the NBA came in contact with the iconic story of the Barceló rums, as an iconic Dominican product, while he got to know the operations, techniques and varieties of the number one dark rum in the world.

The admired legend of basketball expressed his appreciation by the way he was received during his visit to the Historical Center and said he was impressed by the philosophy that guides the Ron Barceló company, to which the also emblematic cigar company La Aurora entrusted with the preparation of its super-premium rum, E.
