Product Description

From the heart of Cibao Valley to the world

Santiago de los Caballeros was founded in 1495 by Christopher Columbus, in the center of the Cibao Valley, the most fertile area in Dominican Republic, to become the capital city of tobacco, where the most quality leaves are grown in La Española island and probably in the world. Santiago is the city where everything started for La Aurora, more than one hundred years ago, in 1903, so a tribute to our city, the heart of the Cibao Valley and the most quality tobacco in the world, was deserved. This way it was born La Aurora 1495 Series, cigars made for connoisseurs that prefer medium to medium-full body, with an extraordinary blend made out of six tobaccos from five different countries: the dark and oily wrapper from Guayaquil, Ecuador; binder from Brazil, Mata Fina; and very complex filler with Peru, Brazil, Estelí-Nicaragua and, of course, Cibao Valley Dominican tobaccos. An all around the world tobacco blend to pay tribute to our city, that will be your city too whenever you want to visit us, Santiago de los Treinta Caballeros.

Tasting notes

An outright beginning, dominated by spicy notes like black pepper, opens the smoke to give way to a more complex and delicate flavors. Wooden presence is evident all along the smoke, but getting richer with bright cinnamon shades, nuts and even citric tips. It finishes powerful and creamy, up to the heights you have expected.
