Aurora 1495 Series
The Aurora 1495 Series, a cigar that celebrates the foundation of its city.
Few years after the discovery of the New World, a group of Spaniards lead by Admiral Christopher Columbus himself, decided to travel deep into the untamed lands of Central La Hispaniola, then also known as The Island of Santo Domingo.
The year was 1495 when these men, captivated by the beauty of the fertile valley located amongst crystal-clear waters and an exuberant vegetation, built a small village along the Yaque del Norte River. This town was baptized Santiago de los Caballeros (Santiago of the Gentlemen) in honor of the first colonists, 30 gentlemen belonging to the Order of Santiago El Mayor.
Through time, this city has been the stage of heroic battles, awe-inspiring manifestations of Mother Nature and blooming industries.
Santiago de los Caballeros, the first colony of the young American continent to bear this name, is the inspiration to one of its most outstanding daughters, La Aurora Cigar Factory, which hereby commemorates the Cigar Capital's foundation with the Aurora 1495 Series Cigar.
